Here’s a throwback to the opening of “Schliffi uff em Märt”, the attraction of Basel’s Christmas market 2017, featuring our GreenIce rink. Our synthetic ice rink was built in the midst of Basel’s historical market place and surrounded by festive lights and market stands.
It was open for free ice skating throughout the entire season, until 10th February 2018.
Visitors of all ages enjoyed the rink; our ice skates were available to be borrowed at the venue, free of charge — as always. There’s nothing quite like ice skating in the middle of a fairytale-like market, enjoying a cup of hot mulled wine and letting yourself be carried away to a magical place.
All of this was made possible by the mobility and accessibility of the GreenIce rink. Zero energy and maintenance costs means exactly what we say it does: no need for a power connection, and the easy assembly process means the ice rink can be installed anywhere, at any time.
Our ice rinks do all that while revolutionizing ice skating to become 100% eco-friendly.
