It seems like Yuzuru Hanyu can’t catch a break. It’s the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final 2018/19 (from 06 until 09 Dec in Vancouver), and just like last year, he had to drop due to an injury. This news comes from sponichi.co.jp, who were referring to the Japanese association. This leads us to assume that he will also miss the Japanese championships (from 21 to 24 Dec in Osaka). Hanyu injured two ligaments and one tendon at the Rostelecom Cup. The news announced that he would now have to undergo a three week treatment for his new injury, after which a four week rehabilitation would follow.
